About Tall Ghana
Elevating Community
Tall Ghana was created to bring together a community that has always stood out physically, but never truly had a dedicated social space in Ghana to connect.
What started as a simple idea quickly became something bigger:
a modern lifestyle community for tall people in Ghana and the diaspora.
Inspired by the experiences of Ivy Prosper as a tall woman most of her life, and the growing popularity of tall networking events happening across America and around the world, Tall Ghana was founded by media personality and cultural strategist Ivy Prosper to create experiences where tall people could meet, network, socialize, and feel seen in an environment designed with them in mind.
Because being tall is more than height.
It’s a shared experience.
It’s ducking under ceiling fans.
Folding yourself into trotro seats.
Searching endlessly for jeans that are actually long enough.
Being asked if you play basketball every other day.
Standing out in every room before you even speak.
Tall Ghana exists to turn those shared experiences into connection, confidence, and community.
Our events bring together professionals, creatives, entrepreneurs, diaspora members, and socially connected individuals for curated experiences that blend networking, lifestyle, culture, music, fashion, and conversation in a relaxed and elevated atmosphere.
This is not your average meetup. It’s building a community, a social experience and a lifestyle platform.
As Tall Ghana grows, the vision is to expand into larger social experiences, fashion collaborations, wellness events, storytelling, travel experiences, and eventually a wider Tall Africa movement connecting tall communities across the continent and the diaspora.
Whether you were born in Ghana, relocated from abroad, or are simply looking for meaningful connection with people who understand the “tall life,” you belong here.
Welcome to Tall Ghana.
Where the community stands tall together.
